When Natalie goes on her third lunch break of the day, she’s not surprised that everyone is still at Central Perk. She goes to sit down next to Phoebe on the ground, taking one of her cookies as she looked up at Chandler.

“So, Saturday night, the big night! Date night, Saturday night, Sa-Tur-Day.” He went on and on when Natalie raised her hand and he pointed at her like her proffesors did when she wanted to give an answer or ask a question.

“Are you being sponsored by Saturday Night Live?” She asked, shoulders raised in question as the man waved off her question. “Or do you just not have plans?” She added which was worse.

“Not a one,” He fell down onto the single seat couch as Natalie got up and threw herself onto his lap, fixing her tie while she does it. “Not even, say, breaking up with Janice?” Ross asked, raising a brow at his friend.

Janice was Chandler’s girlfriend that everyone but Natalie seemed to hate. She actually liked the woman’s voice and how she stared at you with those strange eyes that threatenend to swallow you whole every time.

“Shut up!” Chandler called back, a familiar jest in his voice as he wrapped an arm around Natalie, his hand falling effortlessly on her waist. “I have plans.” She muttered, head resting on his as he scoffed, “Sure you do,”

“I do, but I can cancel to help you break up with your girlfriend.” She shrugged.

“Why does he have to break up with her? Be a man; just stop calling.” Joey shrugged, like his was the obvious answer to this problem. “You’re a dog, Joe.” Natalie said, kicking him on the knee.

“I can do it with you,” Phoebe spoke up from the ground. Chandler just shakes his head, “I think she’d feel like we’re ganging up on her.”

“No, I mean, you’ll break up with Janice and I’ll break up with Tony,” Phoebe corrects him.

Everyone seemed shock by this news, “You’re breaking up with Tony?” Monica was the first to ask. Phoebe just nodded, an awkward smile on her face, “Yeah, I know he’s sweet but it’s just not fun anymore.”

Natalie chuckled at that, “Make sure not to mention that during the break up,”

Phoebe just nodded, “I don’t know if it’s me or his hunger strike,” She stared off into the distance in confusion. “I went on a hunger strike in high school,” Natalie patted her hand on top of Chandler’s, slightly yawning from the long day she had.

“No, sweetie, the doctors said it was an eating disorder.” Chandler turned to face her, the younger of the two rolling her eyes and mimicing his words. “How old were you when your parents got divorced again?” She tilted her head back, leaning it on his shoulder as he sighed sweetly, “I love our friendship.”

Natalie turned her head when she saw Rachel,  who looked annoyed with something, “Does anyone want anything else?”  She asked, one hand on her hip.

“I wanna know why you always leave in the morning without making up the bed,” Natalie’s comment was not met with any humour as Rachel simply glared at the girl who got frightened and placed her head in the crook of Chandler’s neck to avoid that glare.

“What’s the matter? Why so scrunchy?” Phoebe scrunched up her nose and her hands as she spoke. “Agh, it’s my father.” Rachel starts, sitting on the arm rest of the chair. “He wants to give me a Mercedes convertible.”

There’s a small pause of silence before Ross, very sarcastically says, “Oh that guy… he burns me up.”

“Yeah, well, it’s a Mercedes if I move back home,” Rachel corrects herself, pausing, “Ugh, it’s horrible!” She falls back onto Natalie, Chandler groaning beneath the weight. “Let’s all just lay on Chandler, I think I missed that sign out front,” He moved his head back, trying not to get any of Natalie’s hair in his mouth.

“He called me young lady,” Rachel rolled her eyes.

“Oh, I hate when my father calls me that.” Chandler sighs to himself when Natalie turns to face him, her nose brushing his bare neck, “Please stop making up lies; your father does not call you,” A second later and she was on the ground, making sure Rachel doesn’t get hurt as the older of the two gets up and glares at Chandler.

“Oh no, I am terrified,” Chandler’s voice was void of any emotion as he spoke, Natalie grabbing his right up to pull herself onto her feet and back onto his lap.

“Did he give you that ‘you’re not up to this’ thing again?” Monica asked from her seat.

“Oh yeah, I got the extended disco version this time witht the three chorus of ‘you’ll never make it your own’,” Rachel explained, feeling Natalie reach out to take her hand. She slowly moves her thumb  up and down the back of Rachel’s hand as the dirty blonde haired woman just nods.

“Luckily for you; you’re not on your own.” Natalie gets up, brushing her hair over her shoulder as her hand slips from Rachel. She gives the woman a soft smile, making her way to the counter as she leans over it.

“Hey, Nats, do you have plans tonight?” Rachel asked, leaning down beside her as the younger of the two turns to face her. She paused, tapping her card on the counter, “No, why?” She asked, waving over one of the waitresses with a smile.

“Well,” Rachel started, pushing her hair behind her ear, “Monica and I were supposed to do the laundry tonight but she had to bail so I could really use some help,” She smiled, unaware of the waitress trying to get past her to get to Natalie.

“Yeah, I can help with that.” Natalie gave the waitress a quick glance before her gaze went back to Rachel, who nodded to herself, “Perfect.” Before smiling to herself and walking away while Natalie ordered herself a cup of coffee with only one thought on her mind; how in God’s name is she going to learn how to do laundry before tonight?
